Privacy Notice

Short version: I only ask for your data so I can reply to you. I don’t send newsletters, I don’t sell your data.

This Privacy Notice explains how Webspirit (sole proprietorship of Péter Pauska, hereinafter: the “Controller”) processes personal data: what I collect, why I collect it, and for how long.

2. Purpose of data processing

The only place where I collect your data is the contact form. I use that information to get back to you with a quote, a professional answer, or to schedule a call/project.

I do not use this data for marketing, I do not send newsletters, and I do not hand over your details to third parties (except where required for invoicing or technical hosting).

3. Personal data processed

• Name
• E-mail address
• Your message text
• Optionally: phone number, if you include it in the message

You provide these data voluntarily when you submit the form.

4. Legal basis

GDPR Article 6(1)(a): your freely given consent. If we later enter into an actual working relationship (for example, you hire me to build a website), the legal basis also becomes performance of a contract under GDPR Article 6(1)(b).

5. Data retention

• Initial inquiry / quote request: I keep our e-mail/thread for up to 12 months so I can refer back to what we discussed if you return later.

• If we sign a contract / I provide paid work: then billing and accounting data must be retained for the legally required period under Hungarian accounting rules (generally up to 8 years).

• If you ask me to delete your contact form data, I will do so — unless I’m legally required to keep certain data (e.g. invoicing).

6. Who can access your data

Incoming messages go directly to me (Péter Pauska). I do not sell, rent, or forward them to marketing agencies.

From a technical point of view, my hosting provider (Nethely Kft.) may have access for maintenance / server operation. This is not “selling” your data; it’s basic hosting infrastructure.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• request information about what data I store about you,
• request correction of inaccurate data,
• request deletion of your data where no legal obligation requires retention,
• object to further processing,
• request portability of your data (i.e. receive it in a structured, machine-readable format).

You can send any of these requests to: info@webspirit.hu. I will respond within 30 days.

8. Complaints / supervisory authority

If you believe your personal data is being handled unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority. (This is the competent supervisory authority for this website.)

9. Changes to this notice

If anything changes (e.g. I introduce a newsletter, or I start using analytics), I will update this page. The “effective date” will always be shown below.
